Business Development Manager

Do you want to become a key figure in a company that creates technology for the next generation of industry and society? Univrses is now looking for dedicated and experienced Business Development Manager to join the management team in Stockholm.

Your role

As our BDM, you will be responsible for shaping and developing the company’s increasing sales activities. With the support from Univrses’ CEO, scientists and engineers, you will operate the Company’s sales process. As the company grows and more sales people join the Univrses team, you will lead the department and its activities. You constantly collaborate with the rest of the team to develop and improve sales tactics, strategies and tools. For you to manage and enjoy this multifaceted job we think that you are both structured, goal-oriented and experienced (at least 5 years) in complex sales activities, as well as outgoing, creative and curious about the industry. As Univrses' BDM, you will regularly represent the Company on travels both domestically and internationally. Your most valuable quality will be your ability to generate leads and close deals.

Responsibilities

  • Main responsibility: Lead prospects to closure
  • Oversee and own all discussions with all prospects
  • Oversee all discussions regarding new projects with existing clients
  • Continuously improve our sales process
  • Participate in strategic discussions on marketing activities
  • Participate in recruiting sales and marketing staff and line management for such future staff
  • Collaborate with the CEO to assure that sold projects are delivered according to the agreements
  • Own the discussions with our lawyer regarding client agreements, offers, NDA’s etc.
  • Continuously improve the processes to increase sales on existing clients
  • Participate in the company’s Management Team

Required skills

  • Proven sales success of complex products for at least 5 years
  • Focused on closing deals
  • Structured and strategic

Preferred skills

  • Business Development Manager experience
  • Sales experience from selling software products and services
  • Experience from working in startups/scaleups
