March 22, 2023– What is cooler than autonomous cars?
– Autonomous race cars!
On Thursday, the great KTH Formula StudentDriverless team hosted Univrses’ weekly Lunch & Learn. The team is currently developing the university’s first ever autonomous race car (!), and will soon compete with it in international competitions in Germany and Italy. During their visit, they presented their project and specifically spoke about how they have worked on Perception, SLAM and Navigation. One member of the Driverless team is Univrses’ own master thesis student Pier Luigi Dovesi, who is very thrilled about the future:
“Everyone is just so dedicated to this project and excited about what’s coming up for us. It’s great! An amazing thing to be part of. And to share this journey with Univrses is truly an honor.”
Pier Luigi, the honor is ours.
Good luck in the tracks!
