Photogrammetry is one of the many areas where our computer vision technologies can be applied. This is the science of producing reliable information about an object using photographs. We have leveraged components from Univrses’ 3DAI™ Engine to deliver photogrammetry solutions in a variety of applications. These include tools to measure the size of goods on a conveyor belt and, more recently, a smartphone application for measuring wear on mechanical components in machinery. Automating these inspection tasks using computer vision means component life can be monitored more accurately - resulting in fewer failures and less downtime.

Big news! We are happy to announce that a paper written by Amit Dekel, Linus Härenstam-Nielsen and Sergio Caccamo from the Univrses research team has been accepted to #CVPR2020! Their work presents a novel optimal solution to the hand-eye calibration problem.

At Univrses, we gladly honor The Fat Tuesday at the office in Stockholm every year.

The future came to visit our office this week. Machine Learning students from @kthuniversity in Stockholm got to meet several of Univrses' engineers and scientists. We presented our history and the current focus of our research. The response was overwhelmingly positive - we hope to see more of these students in the future.
